The Fish Are Back!!!

Watergardening season is in full bloom and after another successful batch of beautiful koi arrived we are pleased to announce that they are ready for sale and pick up. Our selection includes butterfly koi and standard fin koi. In addition we also carry small & large goldfish! The butterfly and standard fin koi are 4-6” and 8-6" and goldfish range from 4-10” and either are a MUST for a complete water garden. They offer a shimmering vibe to your pond and are the final step in a complete water garden. Beware… you may fall in with koi!!

Also new this season are 8-10" butterfly koi. This years bunch are shimmery, stunning and healthy

Now once you have these beautiful creatures, it’s time to add them to their new home!

Introducing New Goldfish & Koi to a Pond:

Please follow these directions carefully to acclimate your fish to their new home.

First, do not open the bags immediately upon receiving the fish. Simply put the bags in the pond and let them float for at least 20 minutes so that the temperature of the water in the bag can slowly adjust to that of the pond water. If the bag is in direct sunlight, drape a towel over it to prevent the bag from overheating.

After the bag has floated for the appropriate amount of time, open the bag and allow a small amount of pond water into the bag several times over a ten-minute period. This will allow the fish to slowly adapt to the chemistry of your pond water. Take care not to allow water from the bag to empty into the pond.

Gently remove the fish from the bag with a net. Place them into your pond, again being careful not to spill water from the bag into the pond.

Do not feed your new fish for at least 24 hours.

Koi may jump the first day when introduced to a new pond and should be monitored.
