Mark Sousa, aka Dr. Pond, has been installing water gardens and features for over ten years. He has extensive knowledge of water gardens and the products used in them while providing outstanding customer service.
Mark is a hands-on business owner and is involved in every aspect of this corporation. During the 15+ years he has been in water garden sales and installation, Mark has traveled throughout the United States for training classes, seminars, pond builds, and to visit product wholesalers. Through Aquascape, Inc.'s extensive training classes and seminars, Mark has established Action Water Gardens, Inc. as a Certified Aquascape Contractor.
He also participated in the World's Most Extreme Pond Build in July 2008. From April to October, Mark will be servicing and installing water features throughout the state of Connecticut and from November to March (as well as the rest of the year), he is always available to his customers by appointment for in-store or on-site consultations.
Tess has grown up in a family caring for plants and wildlife and has adapted the trait herself. Although she went to school at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI for Travel Tourism, she has always loved nature and growing things from scratch. She has been active in helping her parents with their vegetable and flower gardens and has a knack for tending to the fish here at Action. Because of her outstanding customer service skills, she will always seek to help a customer in need and offer any advice to sustain your dream water feature. Tess has had hands on experience in the field with Mark, himself and is no stranger to the hard work of building a pond, waterfall, fountain, etc.
Cindy has been working with Mark Sousa since January, 1998 taking care of the accounts and employees associated first with landscaping or hardscaping and now with water gardens and features. She stays behind the scenes and balances the customers, vendors and employees needs while getting her tasks done. With her degree in Business Administration, the other days that she is not at Action Water Gardens, Cindy is usually managing other clients' businesses. When she is not working, Cindy likes to spend her time at the shore on the water in a boat or kayak.
Adam has been in the field of aquatics for over 10 years now. He has had extensive experience with many common problems faced by aquarists and pond owners alike. Adam has worked with a wide variety of fish and aquatic plants since he began his career. It is his goal as well as all other staff members here at Action Water Gardens to make sure that all of our customers' questions are answered to the fullest.
" I would like all of our customers to be able to go back home to their pond or water feature with the knowledge and confidence that will enable them to tackle any given aquascaping project."
Water quality, fish health, and making your dream water feature a reality are our main priorities. Adam will make sure you leave our store worry free, and with all of the information you need to run and maintain a successful water feature.
